1. First and foremost Lot of very good friends.
2.A lot of knowledge about Nepal ,its culture , its specialties
3.Understood the pride of representing one's country and the responsibilities associated with it .Everywhere we were being watched and we had to be very careful about our behaviour. (yes ! we were the best of the country!)
4.Understood that hospitality and friendliness is more important than being very formal ,from the way the Nepalese welcomed us!
5.the wonderful chance of visiting certain world famous places of worship and of serene natural beauty.
6.the privilege of meeting very famous personalities -The Army chief of Nepal, The British ambassador to Nepal , The Pakistan ambassador ...and several such top level officers and had a unforgettable dinner with them all. (during the Army day dinner arranged by the Army chief) But there also we were treated not as cadets ,but as officers !We were proud Indians at that time!
7.finally very fond memories of the whole trip which will last a lifetime!
I take this platform to thank NCC ,India Govt and the Nepalese Govt for giving me this wonderful chance !
