Katie Lou Rambo and Levi Criddle
Katie Lou Rambo the daughter of James G. Rambo and Della Mitchell was born January 18, 1914 Houston, Ms Chickasaw County, and died July 28, 1941 from child birth. She was married twice. Her first husband was Levi Criddle. They had two children James Aaron, and Maxcine. After the death of Levi Criddle, Katie Lou married Sherman Albert Vallad (B: March 26, 1913) and they had a daughter named Katie Lou Vallad. After the death of Katie Lou her baby Katie Lou was adopted by Katie's brother Henry C. Rambo and his wife Etoy..... Her other two children James Aaron and Maxine spent time with both their Rambo and Criddle families.
Levi Criddle the son of John William Criddle and Sallie Franks was born 3/26/1900 and died 2/24/1934. He is buried in Macedonia Cemetery near Houston, Ms. Levy was riding on the fender of a car and was hit by a pickup truck which knocked him off the car. He was dragged and killed. They were not able to find the man who killed him. Levy was married two times Marriage #1 Ruth Franks (granddaughter of John Lemuel Franks son of Isaac Franks) she died at about. 22 y/o. They had two children 1. Jackie who died about 1962. She went into the hospital with pains in her stomach and on Monday morning she died. We never knew the cause. Jackie married Fred Stovall. 2.Their son James "Roxie" born February 6, 1923 in MS. Died from a massive heart attach May 11, 1994 in Rock Island, IL. He married Christine Reed. Marriage # 2 Katie Rambo (sister of James Roy Rambo). They had two children 1. Maxcine "Sissy" 2. James Aaron
