Gibbs is located on old hwy 8 east of Houston, MS about 8 miles.

Headstones at the old Gibbs Cemetery. Many are broken and/or gone now. I visited the cemetery about 1977 and the headstone of Jacob F. Franks was broken. my dad James Roy Rambo sat the broken top back on the base. When he picked up the piece of stone it had a black widow spider on it. That was the first black widow I had ever seen so i remember it well.
