Old Business

Fall Picnic:   The Fall picnic is scheduled for 09/21/02 at Fisher Park in Upper Allen from 3 PM to 7 PM.  Heather D. is arranging the Picnic again this year.   Dinner will be served at 5 PM.  Please RSVP to Heather with the number of scouts and family members that will be attending.

Winter Camp:   Jeff M. registered the troop for winter camp.  He secured enough space so that Boy Scout Troop 190 will again be able to join us that weekend.  There is currently a problem with one of the cabins we registered for.  Council is trying to resolve this problem of double booking.  Troop 190 paid the Pack $70.00 for the space we secured for them.  We will wait until September to remind Brian D. about the cabin problem.  Winter Camp is November 15 – 17th.  The price for Fall Camp will be $6.00 for each Tiger and Partner and $12 for each other scout or adult.  Jeff M. will speak with Jeff K. about the program for camp.

Adventure District Camping:   The district is sponsoring a Family Camping Weekend September 14- 15th, 2002.  The fee is $12.50 per family up to 4 members and $5.00 for each additional family member.  Children under age 5 are free.  This camping will take place at Hidden Valley.  Arrival will be on Saturday morning between 7:00 am and 10:00 am.  Program areas will be open at 10:00 am and Campfire will be at 8:00 pm.  Each family provides their own tent, camping gear, food and personal gear.  Program areas will be archery, BB gun, crafts and games.  For more information contact Council.

Pack Purchases:   Casey will look into purchasing a rubber stamp for Deposit Only.

New Business

Reminder:   Scouts and Parents should be reminded that no running in the hall and no scouts will be allowed on the stage unless in a skit.  Clean up should take less than ½ hour.

Den Chiefs:   All Den Leaders are asked to confirm their Den Chiefs for the coming scouting year.  Jeff will speak with Jeff K. to secure possibly 5 new Den Chiefs.

Back to Scouting:   Leslie requested that two rooms be secured for Back to Scouting.  It will be held on the evening of our Pack Meeting.  The event notice went out the first few days of school.

Jeff M. reported that he has received a number of calls from the parents of interested boys.

Registration will take place in the large room down the hall that the Committee meets in.  All Den Leaders should report at 6:00 PM.  Leslie is arranging activities.  And the new boys can break into small groups with the respective Den Leaders to get more information.  They are then invited to attend the Pack Meeting that is being held at 7:00 PM.

Pack Meeting:   The Pack Meeting will begin at 7:00 PM.  Webelos II Den will lead the flag ceremony.  Tables will be set up for Giant Certificates Sales, Popcorn Sales, and Winter Camp registration.  Jeff M. is trying to secure a program idea.  He has contacted the Birds of Prey for information on a possible presentation.

Pack T-Shirts:   Gary K. will hold the T-shirt design contest and have sign-up sheets to purchase T-shirts and Sweatshirts at the Picnic.  Here is your chance to own a Pack 190 shirt.  They should be ready by winter camp.  Order forms will be due by the October Pack Meeting.  The designs will be due to the Den Leaders so that the Committee can decide on a design at the October Committee Meeting.

Items Needed for Pack Leaders:   Mr. M. will be our new Pack Trainer.  He will attend training this fall.  Because our leaders need some materials before that time Mike will be picking up the Program Helps, Cub Scout Posters, and other training materials.  Some of our new leaders will need to attend other training sessions this fall.  All Den Leaders should attend the Committee Meeting or send a representative.

Webelos I:   Our Webelos I den has decided on their new name.  They will be the mighty Rams.  Congratulations Rams!!  They were previously Den 7.
