Memorial Day Parade: Once again, Pack 190 is proud to participate in the annual Mechanicsburg Memorial Day Parade. This year's ceremony will emphasize the contributions of our Korean War veterans, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the start of that conflict. We will meet in the back parting lot of St. Joseph's Church at 9:30 AM. All scouts and leaders should be in full uniform with shorts acceptable for the boys if it is hot. Water will be provided. In the event of rain and cancellation of the parade, a service will be held at the American Legion on North York street at 11:00 AM. All scouts and their families are invited to participate. Lunch is available at the Legion after the parade. National Summertime Pack Award: To qualify for the National Summertime Pack Award, each scout must participate in one (1) Pack activity each month in June, July and August during the summer. If your son attends one of the overnight camps or Parent & Pal Weekend, that may be used as a wildcard if he missed both Pack activities one month. Russ W., the Activities Chairman invested a lot of time researching options and has prepared an exciting slate of summer activities! Reference "Summer Activities" on this website for more details on how your son can qualify for the Summertime Patch.
