Ph_locator_map_marinduque1.png (14629 bytes) Marinduque is located at the geographical heart of the Philippine archipelago. In fact, the 960 square kilometer island is itself shaped like a heart.

Marinduque Island lies approximately 170 kilometers southeast of Manila between  Bontoc Peninsula at the southeastern portion of Luzon and Mindoro Island.   It is bounded on the north by Tayabas Bay,  northeast by Mompong Pass, southeast by Tayabas Strait and Sibuyan Sea at the south.
