PROMETHEUS'S FIRE

Hello, and welcome to Prometheus's Fire. This is upgrade 2.0 of this website. The why of the title is answered in the first of a pair of horotorical essays in the essay section. I started with three, with more to come as the muse strikes.

The reason for doing this is to increase my visibility as a writer. This page is my resume, as it were. Since trying to sell stories already put up on a website has proven a bust. Therefore, I have picked out five stories that I would regard as representative of what I have done over the years, with expositions on why I ended up writing what I did.

I also have a second site that will become a biographical site about me, but it remains a work in progress. It started out as a monument to where I had been, to show how far I had come along since that first tentative foray. However, it has undergone a name change, and a rededication in purpose. After all, why should one website do all the heavy lifting?

While I'm on the subject...This site was meant to be low maintenance, and with the exception of the aforementioned website, it will only be updated to add new essays, or if the unthinkable happens. The other website, At The Altar Of The Bringer Of Fire is where most of my spare energies are going to go into.

I would like to say a special thank-you to Shoreline Community College. They were kind enough to provide open Mac labs with Photoshop. This is almost an entirely hand-built affair. Also to all of you who come to visit. Stay awhile, browse around, and enjoy!
