The Links Page
I would like to say a few words about small press publishers. The terms of use for a Geocities free site means that I am not allowed to sell anything. However, I would encourage you to visit one or more of the sites listed below. Small press publishers are the incubators of the short story, and the place where future writers learn to hone their craft. Many operate on a shoestring or less.
Sites where I have been published:
- Down in the Dirt
Click on the Writer's link, and scroll down to Benjamin Green. A tip of the hat to Alexandria Rand and the others there for all they have done for me.
- Dark Fire
This is another great website for aspiring young writers. Miss Barker has been most patient in putting up with me.
- Micro Horror
Mr. Rosen was most generous in not pulling in his welcome rug after seeing a first draft about a story I did about Baltimore. As far as I'm concerned, everything else he's done for me is gravy.
- Midnight in Hell
All hail the Grave Orc! This is a case of knock at the door long enough, and you will be let in. Those of you wanting to see my contribution, it is issue 2.3, Winter 2008.
- Write Off
This is a site for experimental fiction. I was surprised that they took the story, since it is an older story, and has the taint of vedigris of it is of my personal mythos. Of course, it also has a certain element of black humor as well. Check it out.
- The tiny globule
Mr. Wilkinson is into science fiction and fantasy, but has an open mind about horror fiction, which is fortunate for me. Thank you for finding merit in my submission. I hope you are not alone in that regard.
- Skyline Magazine
Victoria Valentine and her crew of volunteers do yeoman's work in putting out a high quality magazine. I owe her a special thank you for not throwing tomatoes for breaking a cardinal rule: no holiday themed pieces. Still, she was most gracious about accepting it.
- Enigma Magazine
: Alas, this magazine has joined the ranks of the dearly departed. It was my privilege and honor to have known Citizen Syd.
Also, I would like to ask for anybody I might have missed to come forward, and remind me. Due to the number of weisenheimers out there, I will need to confirm that I have indeed placed a piece with you, before I put up a link. I would encourage you to go to the contact page, to familiarize yourself with the ground rules. If you want to take your chances, go ahead:
