Pendragon2 is a 38 feet (12 meter), ocean going yacht and is a New Zealand registered ship, she has Category 1 classification.

 Pendragon2 in Australia

Which means, that she carries all the required safety equipment and has passed the necessary safety inspections, for offshore sailing.
(New Zealand yachting regulations are rather stringent in this respect.)

Welsh (Pendragon) flag

The name 'PENDRAGON' means 'King of Kings' in Welsh. It was King Arthur's title.
(The knights of the round table in Wales England, a long long time ago)
Hence we fly the Welsh flag from time to time.

The hull & decks are steel.
She is cutter rigged, 2 roller furlers, center cockpit, auto pilot, refrigeration, GPS and celestial navigation, computers, pressurized hot and cold water, VHF and SSB radios, water maker, 43 HP diesel, an LCD screen and a pretty good stereo, with an extensive CD library, from Beethoven to Jazz to Santana. ........bring some CD's or DVD's if you like.

But... she is definitely not a luxury yacht, you can find in marinas, but rather a cruising boat that is being lived on and used all year round.

This boat has been through some major storms (15 meter waves are very scary for the first time), she survived no problem.
The yacht is designed and set up to stay at sea for months on end.
There is (sleeping) accommodation for 6, but 4 POB (persons on board) is the maximum at anyone time.
