Well only a few things to mention at the moment.  First, both
Christies and Sotheby's have works by Jenny Saville coming up for Auction.  Christies has "branded" and Sotheby's has a piece called "Factor 8".  I have been looking for this image for a few years now after reading about it in an article called 'Absolutly Fabulous' by Clare Henry.  Second, it was reported that Jenny Saville had a new piece in the Gagosian booth at the Frieze Art Fair.  It was reported that the painting was of a blond transexual.  I have no other information beyond that it was sold.  If you happened to have gone to the fair and maybe took a picture of this painting I would love to see it.  Email me!  Other then that, I want to just say that I only have access to a computer about once a week now.  So if you Email with a question or need something, I may not be able to get back or help like I used to.

August 8, 2004
Summer is almost over and I have not even looked at the site.  Sorry to everyone who needed things but I have started working construction and I no longer have a computer so I have no time and no way of working on the web site.  I have just a few pieces of news.

Flowers East in the west end recently had a show called "Spiritus Mundi".  In the show they had an Untitled piece (Girl in the Bath) C.1990.   Another new piece from Jenny's Glasgow days.

The Royal Academy of the Arts is having their Summer show until August 16, 2004.  Reverse is in the show.

Finally, Site Santa Fe's Fifth International Biennial until January 9, 2005.  Ruben's Flap is in that show.  I hope this helps people!

February 7, 2004-Well a New Year and lots of news to be said.

Shows:  'Drawings' at the
Gagosian gallery in London from January 29-March 27, 2004.
I am unaware of what piece is in the show.  Please contact
me if anyone goes or finds an image of it.

'
Large Scale Polaroid Photographs by Jenny Saville and Glen Luchford' at Umass Amerhest, East Gallery, from March 8-April 5, 2004.  When the show opens up I am going to drive up and take a look at it.  I will post more information at a later date.

'
Art, Age and Gender' at New Greenham Arts in Newbury from January 28-March 5, 2004. This show debuted at Orleans House Gallery, Riverside, Twickenham in April-June 2002 and then traveled to the Usher Gallery, Lincoln, where it was on view from November-January 2002. The piece in the show is called Closed Contact no. 9

Acquisitions:
The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego recently acquired an early Painting  by Jenny Saville UNTITLED, 1990.  It is from her Glasgow School of Art days.  You can really see  Francis Bacon's influence on her in this Painting.  It is always exciting to find these older pieces and I bet there is quite a few of them laying around people's collections.  If you are an owner of an early Jenny Saville piece that I don't have in my image bank I would love to post it on the site for others to see.  Get in touch with CRAIG

The Aberdeen Art Gallery recently acquired Closed Contact no. 4.  It is great that Jenny's work can be seen in Scotland once again.

Thanks:  I want to thank Nicola Ledger for her on going help with information and research pertaining to Jenny Saville.  I hope her studies go well.  I also want to thank Felicity from the Gagosian Gallery in London and Jenny Saville. You guys really made my day!  Thanks again.
