Let us begin with this little delight here. You may be lead to believe that this means, watch out for speed bumps and vision and hearing impaired pedestrians. What this actually means is that the vision and hearing impaired pedestrians ARE the speed bumps ahead. They're easier to hit than children and make a more pleasing sound than elderly people when you hit them. |

This brings us to our next sign. This one warns you of approaching elderly people so that you can slow down and allow them to hit your car with objects such as empty medicine bottles, boots, war memorabilia and grandchildren. |

Laugh away, cause this ones a joke! Hahaha! Yes, it's good to know that the people who make our roads and highways have a sense of humor... |

Now you may think that this implies that our highway engineers and road construction personnel are illiterate morons. Well, you couldn't be more wrong! This is a picture of them hard at work putting in place a new marking that will be popping up everywhere on our roads. It's name, "SOTP". SOTP stands for Stop On Top of Pedestrians. In this extensive campaign by the MVA, whenever you encounter one of these markings on the road, you are to accelerate to an idiotic speed and run down the nearest pedestrian and stop on his/her body in an act of defiance! If you cant find a pedestrian, you have to hit a large, hard object at full speed with your car. It is meant to either cut down on the number of pedestrians or morons. not sure which.. |
