| When you look back over the history of reggae music in Jamaica two studio's stand out as the driving force for change in the Jamaican music scene,Coxson Dodds "Studio One " and Duke Reids "Treasure Island" two labels that have released some of the finest music ever to come out of Jamaica.Artist such as The Wailers,The Heptones,DelroyWilson,TheTechniques,Burnin Spear and Dennis Brown all Cut tunes for either one or both of these mighty studio's.There where other labels also releasing classic tunes at the same time in Jamaica and the Uk ,labels suchs as Channel One,Beverley's records Bambo and Trojan all can stand shoulder to shoulder with the mighty two, this webpage is not a listing of all tracks released on any of these labels but my little tribute to each of these great labels..Jah Bless....Countryman_uk |
