The Cables
The Cables recorded one classic album and a number of tracks for various producer.Front by the fragile yet assertive voice of Kebel Drummond. The Cables arrived at  Studio one in the 60's.It was a very fertile time for producer Dodds with the likes of The Heptones,Delroy Wilson, The Termites and a number of other acts all recording there ,but they did record some great tracks  , Baby Why ,What Kind Of World  Love is A Pleasure, Dodd later collected them on the frustratngly short but excellent lp" What Kind Of World" .The rhythm tracks where later used on a lot of other Dodds recording's.However the orignal cuts are still highly prized by reggae collectors.By 1970 the Cables had left Dodds and though they did record for anumber of other producer Harry J and JJ Johnson they never really found there earlier success
