As I sit here in my loneliness
Nothing would bring me more bliss
Than the simple words, your wanted
But instead with loneliness I’m haunted
Nothing can make it right
As I sit here threw the night
Wishing you loved me
Its easy now to see
That it was only a fools dream
You denial is far to mean
For me to even handle
As I watch the wax drop from the candle
Like ones life is passing bye
Each drop not being able to fly
Makes me want to cry
Makes me want to die
But that’s the coward’s way out
Letting them win the bout
Instead I stand here and fight
All the way threw the night
Against the greatest enemy of all
The one that makes sure I fall
The evil word that is its name
Of the beast I try to tame
Is none other than me
Its so clear now to see.
