What I thought would make me happy, no longer does
just the thought of you would make me smile
and would light up the darkest days
now it fills my mind with confusion
you use to be so damn simple
that's what I loved about you
but now I'm lost and confused
feels like I'm m running in place
when I try to get close to you
the harder I try the harder I fail
when you look at me it tells me nothing
it doesn't tell me your sad
it doesn't tell me your glad
it doesn't tell me your mad
it doesn't tell me you want me
now I ask, what do I do
sit her and wait for you
or do I seek out the questions that I have
but no matter what happens
its easy now to see
that the simplest pleasures of all
