Money
Your bank card (Instabank) can be used in all ATM (Automatic Telling
banking Machines). You can also bring travellers cheque (in Canadian
funds). Those can generally be exchanged easely everywhere . Each
participant is asked to have between 30 to 50 euros in cash upon
departure. Visa, Master Card, American Express credit cards can
be used in many places. The exchange rate is approximately $1.00
for 0,62 euros.
Not included in the overall total trip cost are:
- your third meal at the Pension;
- the meals in Rome and Florence (except breakfast);
- artistic material;
- any extras at the bar !
Things to pack
Comfortable clothes to travel and to draw in (loose and
simple – nothing too short)
- One good sweater for cool nights
- One light jacket
- Bath towel for swimming
- Hat that holds well (for sun protection)
- Good sunglasses
- Bathing suit
- Sun lotion for good protection
- Good walking shoes (essential – good soles/support)
- Light raincoat
- Alarm clock
- Light handbag to carry equipment and beach

- One light bathrobe
- One soap holder with soap
- Light portable water bottle
- Swiss army knife (to be stored in checked luggage)

A light (really light !!) luggage is more than strongly suggested.
Remember that you (and you only) have to carry all your stuff all
over !
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for the course only the desire to learn,
personal discipline, flexibility, respect for the basic rules of
group organization, and a good sense of humor !!!
