Roots
In 1995, we formed the "House of Praise" group at the Apostolic Faith Mission Church (AFM) at Greendale Assembly, Harare.
THE original members of the group were:
Comfort Manyame - Lead vocals, keyboards and composer
Nyasha Manyame - Soprano, alto
Shephered Razunguzwa - Tenor
Sharon Muvirimi - Tenor
Lilt Muvirimi - Alto
Stant Muvirimi - Soprano
House of Praise recorded two Cds in Zimbabwe; Canaan and Tochema Kwamuri Tenzi in 2002. You can watch House of Praise' video "Mufudzi" (from the CD "Canaan")

In January 2003, I relocated to College Station Texas, USA with my family,
marking the end of "House of Praise". The other members of the group are still in Zimbabwe where they continue to serve the Lord in music. We have continued to write and record music in the US. God has brought some very awesome people
along our way. The Intenational House of Praise in Bryan Texas, has been our second home away from Zimbabwe, and we are proud to be a part of this loving family under the
leadership of Pastor Tommy and amai Suzie Thompson.
We released two CDs in 2007,"Pemberai" and
"He Reigns". Both CDs are available on iTunes and other online digital stores. "He Reigns" was recorded with the help of Rilee D Kelton, Darlene Levens,
Ginger Freeze (backing vocals), and Chad Perez on accoustic, lead, electric and bass guitar. Nyasha and Comfort provided the other backing vocals. For those of you who are familiar with our earlier recordings, you will agree
that "He reigns" is very different....that's because of College Heights....God is good!
