Julia Mufaro (Joy)
Miss Jules was born in February 2004 in Bryan, Texas USA. WE named her after my mother and her name "Julia" is derived from a Greek word which means "Youthful". Like her brother CJ her Shona name has signficance in her life and in ours too. We believe that God will use her to bring joy to hopeless situations. We have seen this come to pass in our family.
Jules is
a very strong willed, smart, and very funny child. She tells jokes and makes funny faces. Like her mother Nyasha, she is also a "burden bearer". She is concerned for everyone, it is so amazing. She adores her brother Comfort Jr and wants to make sure that he is fine all the time. Julia loves people and is very expressive. She comments about anything and everything.
Julia is my biggest fan. I remember on my graduation day at A&M she was so excited for me and was telling everyone that when she grows up she wants to be a doctor like her dad, on the other hand, CJ was like..well that's good for you, it was business as usual for my son whilst my daughter was on cloud 9. She loves all the music we have recorded and I hope she does not grow out of it
She talks about Africa and wanting to go to Zimbabwe (we are working on that).
At her tender age we can already see the very spiritual side of this precious child. One day Nyasha and I were discussing some stuff and Nyasha commented that we needed God to come in and intervene, Julia overheard this and she goes "....hey, but he is
already here...." We were so ashamed of ourselves...literally...just to think that we needed a little child to remind us that He is there all the time....That's Julia for you!
