Ngonidzaishe Comfort Jr
CJ was born in Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe in 1999. Ngonidzaishe is Shona for "God's Grace", a very well fitting name because we did experience a lot of God's grace during the time leading to his birth. We still contiue to experience his grace and favor in our lives. CJ is the pride of my life. Nyasha and I are so blessed to have such an awesome son.

We named him "Comfort" after me....a father's pride. Nyasha and I both believe that names should have meaning and should, in way, speak prophetically to our children's lives, so that is why he has such unique names. We believe that God is going to annoint him and use him to bring comfort to the broken-hearted and that he will walk in God's grace and favor all the days of his life. This is what we believe for our son!

When we moved to the USA in 2003, our son was only three years old and so this has been his only home. He loves it here, because he has made a lot of friends at school and church. Jr is so good with people, he makes friends so effortlessly, and he is very strong willed (or maybe...well..kinda..a no-nonsense guy who speaks his mind and tells you how he feels about stuff and does not like to let things just go unresolved).

CJ is a very athletic kid and I believe he can excel in any sport. He also loves to play the keyboard although his musical taste is very unlike mine. He is into the rap and hip-hop culture and I am just not! He enjoys music from Mr. Bell (Kenneth Jonasi, from Zimbabwe) and Charles Charamba. He also like some Kirk Franklin stuff and I do too. But I don't think he likes a lot of what I play (or maybe.....my music), it's just not him. I have to admit though that we do share a lot of interests and Nyasha always makes fun of how Jr is so much like me in a lot of ways, well she is the one who has to deal with the two of us when....things get rough. I have heard someone comment that you struggle the most with the child who is like you in a lot of things, I think this is true for me and Jr.
