Welcome to my website!
My name is Comfort Manyame and I was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. I am married to Nyasha and we have two awesome kids together, Comfort Jr and Julia Mufaro . I moved to College Station, Texas, USA in 2003 to attend graduate school at Texas A&M University, together with my family. My stay here in the States has been great, God has blessed me and my family with very good friends, we miss home a lot but God has been so gracious. Everything that we have or we are...well that's all because of his FAVOR and we acknowledge him.
I attend College Heights Assembly of God in Bryan Texas, USA with my family. My family has been a part of this church family since 2003. I am a member of our Worship Team
and God has been teaching me (through the worship team) a lot of new stuff in worship and just listening to him and walking with him and writing what I hear and making music out of what He says. It has been a great experience for me and my family. I have
also been priviledged to collaborate with my worship leader Rilee Kelton in writing some of the worship songs we sing at our church. God is so good!
When I am not at work, I spend most of my free time writing music and practising on my keyboard. I like taking photos and shooting home videos. I love watching soccer and tennis.
I like listening to contemporary praise and worship music as well as traditional gospel.
I have been listening to Jason Upton for a while now, and he is one of my main influences. Growing up as a young Christian, I listened to a lot of
Keith Green's music and Acappella.
Some artistes in my CD collection include Benjamin Dube, Michael W Smith , Matt Redman , Donnie McClurkin
, Alvin Slaughter , Hillsong, Paul Wilbur , and Acappella
to name just a few. I also enjoy music from the Celebration Choir, Mr Bell, Prince Mafukidze, Kudzai Sevenzo, the late Brian Sibalo, Charles Charamba and
Itani Madima.
