We are the Comeford Park Genealogy Class from the KBSCC.
We meet in the old townhall/police station. Our computer room is one of the jail cells. The locks have been removed and the bars have been painted pink, but those cells still have much history.
As the title says, we're Senior Citizens interested in our past and sharing unique knowledge.
This was Virginia's first effort at creating a webpage and she invites everyone to visit
MARYSVILLE PILCHUCK HIGH SCHOOL
As part of a Senior Project, we are doing life stories.
To celebrate the year 2000, we are extracting different records and placing them on-line.
Our Soldier Dead lists the service men and women who lived in Snohomish County and died in the service during World War 1 and offers links to other sources for military records
Shaeffer-Shipman Funeral Home sent Mike Webber to visit our genealogy class. These are his notes.
Found in Snohomish County is a list of bibles, baby books and records that we would like to return to descendants of owners.
CIVIL WAR PROJECT
Jim Shipman is the driving force behind placing a monument to ALL men who fought in the Civil war in the GAR section of the Evergreen Cemetery, Everett WA. With the help of an elite team of genealogist he has begun a project to identify all the men in Snohomish County.
When Jim spoke to our genealogy on 26 Oct 2005... he came with a list of 27 men known to have lived in the greater Marysville area. Our class has volunteered to take that list and identify with facts, stories, and pictures these men.
This is a work in progress...
this is our work book.
