Friday

Friday morning, I woke up early and started getting ready. Isn't it funny how easy it is to get up when you're leaving for vacation? This is john and jay asleep on the floor of my apartment.

After a 3 hour flight from Newark to Denver, we ended up at our friend Dan's house. Dan will tell you that he lives in Denver's ghetto, but it looks no different from any of New Jersey's apartment complexes (except for the "Report Criminals, Dial 911" signs). After some suprisingly good pizza, we took a walk up the street to Dave and Busters. This is Dan over here, blasting somebody in some kind of game.

For those not in the know, Dave and Busters is an Arcade for Adults, basically the most bad-ass video games around combined with alcohol. This is an incredible step forward for mankind! This is Keith and John-boy doing the rowyco on some game or another. Yes, Keith is looking kind of old in this picture, but don't sweat it, he had to come straight from work.

This is Keith's wife Caroline. This is the most innocent pic I took of her that night. Poor taste in photo selection becomes the norm after some alcohol. The little guy she is holding is not a sheep, like I thought, but a mummy that she won.

Right after I took this pic, we all went to play their Battle Bot, Robot Jox Mech Warrior game. That's really the only way I can describe it. You get into these pods, and then you're like these giant robots that fight each other. Here's a video clip of what it looks like(LOW RES).

This is a photo of Jay just meditating on what a good time he's having. This is his first vacation in a long ass time, and even though we haven't been out of Jersey for more than 18 hours, he's in Western Heaven.

Friday night we slept at Dans. Tomorrow we're gonna do the Denver tour.
