"The Route 66 Travel Company"
Classic Travel was formed seven years ago by Colin after becoming one of the first to drive across China and Russia. Realising many motoring enthusiasts were in need of some help to take part in International Events. A complete support management and worldwide shipping service was formed.
Peter, originally from Australia, with a wealth of world-wide travel experience, fulfilled a dream and drove Route 66 for the first time in 1998.
In 1999 Colin supported Peter with the first Route 66 Tour. In 2000 , they formed "The Route 66 Travel Company".
Over the past two years Colin and Peter have driven Route 66 a total of eight times. Mapping every drive-able mile, researching places of interest and creating the most comprehensive guide to Route 66 ever written, resulting in two very successful tours.
