Hello
Cocker Spaniel People,
Re:
CHRISTMAS GREETINGS/PHOTO COMPETITION 2005
Thanks to
everyone for your entries - I had great fun receiving them and our
Celebrity Mystery Judge, Barbara Killworth, greatly appreciated your
efforts (thanks to Barbara for your time and expertise).
Announcing
the winners:
WINNER - BEST COCKER PHOTO
COMPETITION
Angelique Mortleman and Morris the
photogenic Flying Bathmat!

Judge's
comment:
"...So hard to
photograph a black dog especially inside, and this one is very well
done, perfectly in focus, and displays the Christmas spirit..."
As many of
us know, the difficulty factor for photographing blacks is huge - they
are either undefined blobs or the lolling pink tongues make them look
slightly demented!
RUNNER UP - BEST COCKER PHOTO
COMPETITION
Alecia Ungrinic and Sam

Judge's comment:
"...that dog has definitely had too much Christmas
spirit..."
Enough said.
WINNER - BEST COCKER FAMILY
PHOTO
Harm-Dennis family and dogs

I think Ziggy lolling in the foreground
may have got them over the line (classy!)
Congratulations to the winners, enjoy
your very neat prizes and to all who participated thanks for your
efforts - they were fantastic and you will have a chance to admire them
all in the coming newsletter.
This is our inaugural competition year
but the competition will be running again bigger and better next
Christmas so keep entry ideas in the back of your mind over the next
twelve months. Today, for example, would not be considered too early to
get a start!
A note for all club members and those
who will be receiving this newsletter, publication of the newsletter has
gone back a week to next Monday 19th December to allow for Saturday's
Championship show to be included - so thank you for your patience, it's
going to be huge!
Season's Greetings to everyone and
their furry kids,
