| Have you ever noticed how most people can be really optimistic when it comes to other people and encouraging them but as soon as it is about our own lives, pessimism takes over. At least that's how it is for me. I guess because it is easy to tell someone else everything will work out in the end and to look on the bright side, when we say it to someone else we don't have to believe it they do, but it's not so easy to make yourself believe it and so we are pessimistic. Like they say 'easier said than done.' Not too often do I show my pessimistic side to people, but it is always there in my mind, fighting me everystep of the way. Though optimism took over yesterday when I realized I didn't care what people thought of my sexuality. I'm gonna try to make a conscious effort to be more optimistic for myself and see the good in everything no mater what! |
