***when figuring costs for your trip, remember to factor in costs for your***
1.  Flight to and from Tegucigalpa Airport  (pronounced Tea-goose-sea-galpa for us gringos !!!)
2.  Passport, visas, vaccinations and that sort of traveling thing (US $20 visa renewal is needed every 30 days while here in Hondo)
3.  Vital living expenses such as ice cream, slushies at the Texaco station, gifts, traveling to the beautiful Bay Islands up north, etc
4.  US $75 for getting picked up and taken back to the airport (when your trip has ended) by a hired driver.
               However, if you are courageous enough you can take a "Chicken" bus from Tegucigalpa to Danli with taxis in between for about US $7 total; this also applies to the trip from Danli to Tegucigalpa)
