Burns Night at McGregors Keep

Several of the clan Visited Canna to experience the hospitality of Clan Gregor. Much drinking and singing was had although Laird McGregor seemed absent for most of the weekend and his house was overun by Zombies and Ghouls. there was also a mysterious ghostly woman. The weekend ended with a big fight where Cloddagh managed to get turned into a big beastie who gave Tu Bu Cu a shock, but the baddies were banished and the spirits appeased. The only problem that the clan had was a brief altercation with the Deadites of the Clan Rose. A deamon of some sort called Carnage who cast a spell on Angus. It was all sorted out in the end by Beragor, and the clansmen returned home to the Highlands.

More Goblins....

This winter has been particularly bad for Goblin raids. 7 settlements have been hit including Acadh Mhor and Kincraigie in the far north of the Highlands, and Fleodebhagh, Tulgarreg and Ardlaig in the south. In one particular incident in Clachanmuir four children were taken alongside several head of cattle. The bodies of the children were discovered in a Goblin lair on the edge of Tay Forest at the foot of Cairn Eitege.

The clan folk of Clachanmuir were helped in their hour of need by the famous goblin fighter Murdo McCuallich, a rather wild fighter from over by loch Torridon who's brother Tam was killed this year at one o' those sassenach moots. He and his fighters led the villagers and scoured the nearby hills and wood lands and brought back the heads of 40 goblins in revenge. Murdo and his band of warriors then headed North to help the other villages.

Ewan and Iain McCaullich suffered bad wounds in the hunt, Ewan dying before a healer could get to him. Laird Duncan has advised all villages to look to their defenses as the last of the winter snows are still likely to remain for another month at least, and this is the time of year when everyone gets hungry.
