Burns Night

Angus, Rab, Mary Cloddagh, Heather, Callum, Culluch and a wee lass called Moran travelled far tae the north, tae the isle o' Canna, tae pay respect tae Beragor McGregor, who had been a frie' tae the McCaullichs. The weather was especially bad, wi' snow, wind and floods. Drink and song were partaken, but the McGregors were beset by an Ice Quin and her minions. The McCaullichs fought alongside many of the faction, in particular the Clans Bruid and Urquhart. The enemy was defeated, but there was an incident o' ill deeds frae ain deamon o' the Clan Rose. Who greatly insulted the McGregors and the Bruid. Carnage and the ither members o' the Rose were escorted frae the isle by Mary Cloddagh and Blayne in their role as Laochs, but Andraste McGregor seemed tae hae bin driven mad by the grief o' Beragors passing and attacked the deadites. The consequences were tae be more terrible than any cuid imagine.

The Cataclysm

The main effect o' this cataclysm is tha' the land hae changed greatly. Tae the south o' the Taurathan range, the land has risen in tae new peaks as tall as any in the mountains. There hae bin ancien' passages and deep halls opened tae the skies, an' it seems there are many previously unknown clans o' goblin an' orc that hae bin driven tae the surface. Many new incidents o' attacks hae bin reported and the Duncan and his war band are very busy. In the McTrew lands Loch Tay hae grown in size and flooded much o' their lands including Dun Tay. The valley o' the river tay is now navigable all the way tae he north coast. Many folk hae bin killed in the lowlands and out tae the west coast, but in the mountains it seems that the nature o' Hieland buildings and the scattering o' communities along glens hae kept many safe.

The Clan Council

Some o' the clan attended, where there seemed tae be a lot o' goblins, and some gypsies, who had the protection o' Angus Ryan, who also attended in order tae find out the reason he had bin locked in a dungeon fer 2 years, and tae mak' hiself known after his enforced abscence. He spoke tae the various clans but he promised tha' he wuidnae replace th' Quins.

The Great Edrejan Fayre

Newly instigated due to the disappearence or death of Orcus and Spittle and run by a ringmaster there were many combat games. Many were judged by Angus in his role as weaponmaster. Rab came second in the daggers and Mary Cloddagh won the paired weapons. The weather was very wet and cold fer the end of May.

The Moots

Again, the weather was very bad wi' mud all over the camp. The clansfolk who visited established a camp and Geillis came doon frae the hills tae help and cook. Also we were visited by a lad called Brady. It was very wet and although the Laird Cedric had expressed concern oer the fact that there were few o' oor allies there and that we might be attacked. it all seemed a bit quiet though so we sang a load o' songs around our fire.

The Gathering

The Gathering this year featured the Bear faction and her allies chasing the Tarantula faction and their allies around the site. There was a list of high ranking Tarantulas that had been compiled by Laird Cedric who then ordered Dougie tae lead the faction o'er tae the ither camps. The next day the same thing happened again although this time the Tarantulas hid in the Wolves camp, so we attacked that. Laird Dougie was away on business so Rab led the alliance armies intae the Wolves camp. The faction then went on tae fight against some elementals and helped stop some rituals. After that it got a bit quiet until Laird Obidask was struck doon by an assassin which was a great loss tae Caledonia. The McCaullich hae had many dealings wi' Obidask and found him tae be an honourable man. Angus ran the faction championship which was won after hard battles by Willum. He was also allowed back on faction lands and his exile revoked. The next day Rab was gi'en the task o' leading the faction in an honour battle which was designed tae show the Dwarven owners o' some forge that the factions could behave honourably. The battle was won in a short while due to the bears and their allies outnumbering the other factions, some o' who didnae want tae fight. All in all quite guid event.
