Hearth and Home

The year started well for some o' the clan wi a visit tae the McTrew Hearth and Home, a new tavern which opened in their lands. There were many guests frae the Lions faction who are particular friends o' the McTrews. There was much drinkin' and singing tae be had, wi' Laird Ruidhan and rab introducing the David McSnagga song tae an enthusiastic crowd. After which there was a fine Ceilidh. In the morning fighting contests were held which Rab judged for the individuals. It was won by Dougie McFinn. Dougie and Rab entered the pairs and won that, Rab didnae judge this one though...

Angus, Heather Rab and Mary Cloddagh also attended the clan council. Angus spoke in favour o' the clans supporting that we fight fer Peace in the cadre battles, but it is nae clear as tae the extent tae which the sassanachs listened.

Conner McCaullich

Conner McCaullich, a fine lad who had ventured doon frae the Hielands on occasion was discovered slain in the mountains. He was tae return tae Heather at the Heartlands but his body was discovered by Squeaker the Goblin lord of time. Quite what he was doing in the Hielands isnae known but he collected Conner's things and took them tae Heather at the Games. She was obviously shocked and upset as Conner had promised tae return tae marry her in a year and a day. Squeaker, who although being a goblin has proved tae hold some honour, explained that he thought Conner had been hunting goblins and volunteered tae help hunt them doon. Afterwards a party o' Hielanders began a search fer the culprits.

The Heartland Games and the Moots

Several members o' the clan went tae the larger events although there was little o' interest tae the average Hielander. The weather was very hot in the sassanach lands, probably due tae the imminent cataclysm. There were many murderous bands o' enemies abo', although all members o' the clans returned unharmed. But Beragor McGregor and Marcus McFook were slain in the battles at the Moots. The Heartlands were also of note as Orcus and Spittle were killed by various entities.

The Gathering

The Clan were well represented at the battle that was tae determine the future o' Edreja. While Dougie McFinn served as the general o' Edreja, Rab acted as war leader fer the Bears faction. The battle was confusing and wide spread, the outcome uncertain. Rab fought Angus in the faction champion final with Angus taking the honour o' faction champion fer the second time. Mary Cloddagh was promoted frae squire tae a Laoch o' the Fianna. It is guid tha' the clan now has a representative in the Fianna. Callum also became a squire. Heather took charge o' the shield o' Anu and Culluch worked hard among the Armourers guild. Willum and Big William visited frae the Hielands fer the first time.

Lest we Forget

Tae honour those that fell, Johnnie Walker McMead hosted a small gathering where drink and song were shared aplenty. However Willum, who was somehwat in his cups hit the Cerridwen wi' a knife when she tried tae quiet him during one o' Heather's songs. This resulted in him being taken tae stand afore the Laochs, he also hit Laird Cedric when he was woken up suddenly. The Laochs decided that he be banished and so Heather and Rab took him hame in the morning.
