TOP and TAIL MOUNT 6 CELL - BODY PREP part 2
Now we are ready to install the 6 cell mod battery holders into the body.
Apply glue to the back of the  tail mount battery holder.
Then insert it in place, centered, and as near to the back end of the body as possible.
Now apply glue to the sides of the top mount battery holder at the end that will slide underneath the cars body mounting clip.
Then slide the top mount battery holder underneath the cars body mounting clip.

Wait until the glue has dried according to the directions on your glue container.
I like to tape any loose wires to the body. This keeps them out of the way from any moving parts like the wheels or motor. I also like to put a piece of tape across the battery holder to help secure the battery in the holder. Some times large bumps or collisions might cause the battery to pop out of its holder.
Once the glue has dried you can insert the batteries and plug in the cars body to the chassis.
When done properly, whether it be the 65 Mustang or some other body style you should have enough clearance so that the tail mounted cell does not interfere with the rear suspension.
Batteries installed, 6 cell plugged in, and body mounted we are now ready to race.

Have fun.
