Tripping the Line
We are not one dimensional people.  The idea of trying to fit even a brief glimpse of all of the strange and unique things about ourselves in a single page is simply laughable.   Coni has created sub-categories highlighting certain things that we think others might find they have in common with us.
This also acts as a head's up for those who might be offended.
Bisexuality
Political Opinions
Polyamory
Spiritual Beliefs
Hobbies and Interests
There is a lot of intimate and personal information on these pages.  You may find that some of this information objectionable or controversial... maybe even obscene, but I think it's important to be forthcoming about who we are.  Making this simple choice has given us the incredible freedom to just be ourselves with every single person we meet, and as a result, the people who grow to become our friends accept us exactly as we are.
A quote that sums it up perfectly....

"IT IS BETTER TO BE HATED FOR WHO YOU ARE,
THAN TO BE LOVED FOR WHO YOU ARE NOT!"

Seeking Lifelong Friendship.... Maybe More

We have many hobbies and interests, diverse beliefs and ideals and want to meet and spend time with others who share some of them. We are interested in making new friends in the Twin Cities Metro area.

We believe in
responsible non-monogamy, and are looking for others who understand and accept this about us.
Basically this means that we believe in having intimate relationships with those we have grown to trust and care about. This does not mean that we seek ONLY intimate relationships.  It just means we are open to that possibility if the chemistry is right for EVERYONE involved.  That being said, I will also add that neither of us have ever been  interested in sex only arrangements, and that is not likely to change.
Until August 11, 2007, we lived in Como Park in the same house that Coni's great-grandparents bought when they were first married. In the wee hours, straight line winds tore through the park and in the process blew over our 90 year old cottonwood... right onto the house.  Shawn and Coni's daughter were able to escape on their own, but firecrews had to rescue Coni.  Not only did we survive with just bumps and bruises, but the dog Gingersnap and our two cats, Tasha and Cloudy were rescued later by family.  However the stress of moving 3 times in 2 months was too much for our Tasha Blue and she left us just before her 17th winter.
