Lynn finally came to pick us up from the vet's. Well, it's about time!!
Lynn told us that she had to leave us there because there was no one to look after us at home. Everyone -- Lynn, Shila and Chick -- went home to celebrate Hari Raya Puasa (Aidil Fitri or Eid) with their families. Well, I wished you had told us earlier. We were worried that you didn't like us anymore and had left us at the vet's to be sold or something...

Lynn forgot that tonight is Chinese New Year's Eve and that shops close for the big dinner feast. She forgot to stock up on our food so for the next few days we'll be eating fresh food instead of canned ones. Cool!

Today is Chap Goh Mei day, a chinese custom where single women throw mandarin orange into a river with the hope of getting a husband. Lynn & her friends were supposed to do that but they forgot! No husband for them this year, I guess...

Valentine's Day! Sure, flowers are nice to look at but I'd rather have a nice can of Whiskas.
Lynn: Chuwy didn't come home last night. He went out on his usual night watch-cat round, came back for a quick bite, went off again and he hasn't been home since. I know male cats are very territorial and prone to wander but still, it's been more than 24 hours. If he was a real person, the police would be out looking for him already.
One of my cats went missing a few years back; we were told by some kids later that they saw someone stealing him. I just pray the same thing won't happen with Chuwy. Much as he irritate me sometimes, I love the little guy...

They showed the first Formula One race of the season 'live' on TV. How could anyone like a so-called sports that's so noisy? Shila is happy that the Petronas Sauber team came in fourth and sixth which got them on the constructor's list with 4 points.

Start of the Malaysian Formula One Grand Prix. According to Chick, the ticket sales were pretty slow. It's probably because this year's Malaysian GP is the at the beginning of the race season � unlike the previous years where it was like the second last race of the season or something.
Even if they sell the tickets at a discount, we still can't afford to buy them. So we're going to have our very own F1race this Sunday. Lynn and Shila has started building cat cars for me and Gracie (you don't know what a cat car is? Well, click here to find out). I'm a Schumaker fan, so naturally my team will be Furrari while Shila and Gracie are the CatLaren Meowcedes team.

Both teams had our test run today. Our car is looking good but the CatLaren Meowcedes team's car kept toppling over on the corners -- probably because the driver is too fat and heavy *guffaw*.
The inaugural Cat Car GP race took place this morning. Only two teams took part --Team Furrari and Team CatLaren Meowcedes. We had a bit of an argument over who actually won but it sure was a lot of fun!

Blackout! We had a blackout yesterday! Lynn was working on her computer when it happened. Well, I tell ya... that girl sure can swear with the best of 'em!
It was kinda spooky; there were candles everywhere and Lynn was humming to herself (the hi-fi system was out), so it felt a little bit like a seance session. What's spookier is that California is experiencing blackouts too, so this is like some sort of a blackout brotherhood. Quick, call the X-Files!
Okay. I'm a busy cat. I've got things to do, places to visit. I ain't got time to write in my diary every day! So from now on, I'm just going to write whenever I feel like it, okay? Okay.

About two weeks ago, things started disappearing from our apartment. Little things -- like the VCD (video compact disc) racks. One day it was right where it was supposed to be, the next day it was gone. Poof! Just like that. On another day, all the the CDs and cassettes disappeared from their place. Without any trace. I tried to keep my eyes open to see if some stupid aliens are stealing our stuff, but it's hard to stay awake when sleep beckons, you know? Like right now, the sun is shining and there's a nice breeze blowing and... z z z...

It wasn't some stupid aliens! It was Lynn and Shila!! They were the ones who's been taking all the stuff to God-knows-where, for God-knows-what-reason. They've been doing it Chori Chori Chupke Chupke (that's the title of a Hindi film by the way. I beleive it means 'secretly, silently').

Yikes! The apartment is totally empty!! A couple of strangers came by today and took everything away. I meowed real loud to get them to stop but they just ignored me. Gracie was no help at all. The stupid cat hid underneath the sofa ... until they took that away, too. There's nothing in the apartment except for our food bowls, our litter trays, and some old newspapers stacked in a corner... what's happening here? Where's Lynn? And Shila? And Chick?

We spent last night in our totally empty apartment. No sign of Lynn. Or Shila. Or Chick. It was just me, and Gracie, and our food bowls, and our litter trays, and those old newspapers. Where did everybody go? Why didn't they take us with them? Who's going to feed us? Are we going to die here??
Thank God! Lynn came back, stuffed us in our carrier and took us to this new, strange place. And you know what? All our stuff are here! There's the sofa, and the TV and... I didn't get a real good look cause as soon as we got here, Lynn locked us up in one of the rooms... but it looks like everything's here.

Lynn won't let us out of the room to look around the new place. I'm reduced to chasing Gracie around this small room but there are a lot of boxes she can hide in, so it's pretty boring.

Lynn finally let us out to explore this new place. Gracie hid under the sofa right away. Hmm, this place is a bit smaller than the old apartment but the balcony is very interesting. It's not as high as the old one but it faces the main road and you can look at cars passing by all day!

Hey, this place ain't half bad. We've got two wicker chairs out on the balcony and when they're done watching TV, Lynn and Shila would sit out there with me and we'd wave at all the cars passing by!
