Our drive from Vermont to Massachusettes was eventful too. Driving into New Hampshire, we were met with snow! At first, only the peaks of the mountains had snow on them, but soon it started snowing on the ground around us too! We stopped at a park near the border and walked around in the snow for a while. The pictures of the white winter snow on the fall leaves were great. Unfortunately, we took them all on the other camera, so I'll be adding them later.

Provincetown was like a whole other world from Vermont. It was sunny, warm(er), and almost all the leaves were green. When we got to the street that our third bed and breakfast was on, it was packed with people. As we got into town late in the day, we decided just to walk around for a while. This shot was taken as we walked back from a long pier in the middle of town.

It actually rained most of the time we were in Provincetown, so we did a lot more driving around and shopping than we did in Vermont. After all we had done the first five days in Vermont, we needed the rest!

Spank the Monkey was one of the many colorful shops in Provincetown. We didn't go in, but I couldn't resist a shot of their sign.

The first night in Provincetown, we did get to go see a drag show. I, of course, got picked on mercilessly, as Alyssa and I were the only straight couple in attendance. Getting to see immitations of Barbara Streisand, Dolly Parton, Marilyn Monroe, and others were very amusing. I just wish we had had our camera with us!

The weather finally cleared up a bit for our last day in Provincetown. We took the opportunity to walk along to beaches that previously, we had only seen from the car while it was pouring rain. I snapped several shots of the waves, which, despite how they look in the picture, were actually about four feet high.

More waves...
