descendants receive wildly,
enthusiastic reception from 6th grade class
. 9/22/01. Sierra Vista's sixth grade class shares moment of silence in remembrance for Marjorie Loui. 10/16/01. Sierra Vista students and Madera Historic Society welcomed Dorothy Sun Murray and her family. State proclamations were presented to Mrs Murray . 11/26/01. Observance for Yee Chung is planned for April 27, 2002; book release scheduled for July, 2002. 12/07/01. Massive steel doors to Yee Chung Company general store and Man Wah Store stores in Borden on Mordecai Ranch were shown to Yee Chung descendants. 07/27/2002. Marcia Chan returns from Hong Kong and China, with spectacular photos of large Yee Chung portraits hanging on the wall in his home in Lung Yuet Tau village -- for the last 115 years. The photo portraits included Yee Chung, 1st wife, 2nd wife all taken in 1887-88, and Lee & Lily Chong with son George taken in 1918. 09/20/2002.
