Not only are Camaros for civilians, but they are also used in police forces around the country. They are mostly used for highway patrol cars, or interceptor vehicles. The Camaro is the perfect for this job due to its speed and agility. Without these, the Camaro would not be a successful police vehicle no matter what the job. Most of the Camaros have a long lost of extras that are put in the car including all the police "goodies" like scanners, sirens, signl lights, stobe lights, special labeling, etc. This is being used by a "CHiP" unit, however, it never made it to the show, but it wasn't to the fault of the Camaro, but time.....
