IROC Camaros

In 1985, the IROC (International Race of Champions) league began using Camaros for the cars in the races. In honor of these IROC Camaros made to race, Chevrolet revealed the "IROC-Z Camaro". The IROC Camaros had special decals on the sides of the car to let you know that the person driving had a car with only one real purpose; to race. However, the cars had only a few modifications. The decals, and the availability of two engines, the 305ci (5.0 Litre) engine, and the 350ci (5.7 Litre) engine. Notice that there was no V-6 in the picture!! That was one of the main features of the IROC Camaros. However, in 1990, the IROC Race League stopped using Camaros. Therefore, the IROC-Z Camaros stopped being produced. This picture is of a 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. This was one of my favorite IROC Camaros.
