Several students from our chess class participated in NSC open chess tournament. Jiayi Hu took the 1st place in the Kindergarten grade, Dino DeRaad took the 2nd place in the Kindergarten grade, and Alva Wei took the 1st place in the 1st grade. Congratulations to you all! We are very excited that National Chess Master, Mr. Elliott Neff, is coming to Sammamish Chinese Academy to teach students chess. Mr. Neff has over 10 years experience in teaching and coaching chess. He has multaiple students currently in the top 100 list in the US fot their ages, including one in the top 5 for age 9. If your child is interested in learning how to chess or wants to greatly improve his/her chess skills, register early and register today!
