Curriculum
Our curriculum is specially designed to teach children (aged 4 and up) to speak, read and write Mandarin Chinese. Chinese culture, Chinese history, Chinese crafts and games are blended with Chinese language instruction. Through many fun-filled activities and individual instructions, students at SCA learn quickly and effectively. Depending on each individual student and his/her interest, the curriculum can be focused primarily on speaking, reading or writing Mandarin Chinese. Once student reaches to a comfortable level in speaking, reading or writing Mandarin Chinese, he/she will be directed toward the next focusing area of his/her interest until he/she masters all three. Students are expected to have weekly homework and one (final) or two exams (mid-term and final) each quarter depending the duration of the quarter.
