| After becoming the first-ever CXW CHAMPION, Warheart led the way for younger talent, teaming up with fighters like Solid and Scorpion X. However, at Resurrection, Warheart's best friend and tag team partner, Solid, won the CXW CHAMPIONSHIP from him, giving Warheart a new purpose, to show exactly why he was the first-ever CXW CHAMPION. Despite his renewed sense of purpose, things changed quickly in CXW. The CXW CHAMPION, Solid, left the country, and the entire company went through a roster adjustment, leaving him, Don Magic Juan, and Tony Manzana as the only original fighters to still be in the company. Instantly, Warheart found Dangerous D.A., a young ambitious fighter willing to learn from the best. Forming a tag team, Warheart and Dangerous D.A. followed the Tag Team Championship wherever it went, meaning that Warheart would participate in some of the most violent feuds in CXW history against Freaky J, and Dangerous D.A. would make it his duty to put Nasty K out of commission. ConsequenceS marked the day that Warheart and his student won the CXW Tag Team Championships, but shortly after, at For Whom The Bell Tolls, Dangerous D.A. went out on his own, but not before stabbing Warheart in the back and allowing Menace II Society win their Tag Team Titles. Friday, August 23rd holds a moment for Warheart that will be etched in his memory until the day he dies. Dangerous D.A. was defending his CXW CHAMPIONSHIP, and the Devil's Advocates had just made their debut. After a 2-month absence, Warheart ran out into the arena, dressed completely in Black, and attacked the Advocates with a singapore cane. With 6 men laying on the ground in pain, Warheart walked up to Dangerous D.A. and in his eyes you could see that renewed sense of purpose. After winning "Til Death Do Us Part" and becoming the number 1 contender for D.A.'s title, Warheart had one more chance to recapture what he began his career with- the CXW CHAMPIONSHIP. So it was set, Disturbing The Peace, Warheart vs Dangerous D.A. for the CXW CHAMPIONSHIP. After suplexing a ladder, throwing 2 tables and d bombing D.A., Warheart ended up getting handcuffed and beaten until the referre counted one...two...three. Dangerous D.A. retained the CXW CHAMPIONSHIP and Warheart retired from Xtreme Wrestling one month later. He remains the founder and current CEO of Chicago Xtreme Wrestling Entertainment. |
