| "You will all be silent when you fall to my defeat. The "Civil War" was a part of history. On June 7th, 2002 A.D., anyone who crosses the unknown path will decay in the middle of the mats." that was Nitemare's first message to Chicago Xtreme Wrestling. On June 7th, Nitemare appeared in the CXW ARENA for the first time, and made a frightening impression on the company by defeating Menace II Society in a handicap match, proving his earlier words to be true. After making his presence felt in Chicago Xtreme Wrestling, Nitemare went through the summer of 2002 fighting the likes of Freaky J, and the Insane Wrestling Association's Fuel, and ended up defeating Jamie Monoxide for the Pay Per View Championship at Revolution. Headlining one of two main-events at October 4th's Disturbing The Peace, Nitemare has the opportunity to become the first-ever Acts Of Violence Champion. The only thing in his way is the CXW XTREMECORE CHAMPION, Ultimate Backyard Wrestling's Gangsta. When we look at the careers of Freaky J and Dangerous D.A., two men that have held the CXW CHAMPIONSHIP, winning the greatest prize in the company shortly after winning the Tag Team Championships, each with their individual partners, we can easily see Nitemare holding the CXW CHAMPIONSHIP in the near future, especially after walking out of DTP as the Acts Of Violence Champion. Already being one of the most quickly decorated fighters in CXW history, Nitemare has reached the level in which people are starting to question why he's not the CXW CHAMPION. So the only question that remains is: does Nitemare need the Devil's Advocates as much as they need him? |
