'Shrek' - its a new animated Dreamworks comedy classic, with Lord Farquaad, Princess Fiona, Donkey and Shrek. With voices from John Lithgow, Cameron Diaz, Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy.
Shrek is an ugly, mean ogre, and 'Donkey' a talking would you believe it donkey!!! Princess Fiona is based on a fairy character - and Lord Farquaad is the 'soon to be King' - only if he marries a Princess. Which is where shrek comes into it. One day it seems shrek's quiet, secluded swamp is over run by cartoon fantasy characters. He goes to Lord Farquaad to sort it all out , So Farquaad makes him a deal, he must rescue the Princess and the swamp will be cleared. So he sets off. On an adventure to get Princess Fiona. With is associate 'Donkey' - they have good and bad times, and the animation skills are amazing with scenes you mind cant imagine. Resulting in a twist at the end. It has many comedy and funny bits with outakes from such films like 'The Matrix'
The whole film is excellent and can be enjoyed by all ages.
