From the creators of Toy Story 1 and 2 and a 'Bugs Life', Pixar - Monsters Inc. is by far the best, its sharp, clever and frighteningly funny. This is a story about 'Boogeymen' who creep out of cuboards every night to scare small children. A kids nightmare come true. Hmm, not really, because these monsters dont really mean any harm, theyre just doing their job and supplying Monster World with electricity.
Everyday, green one-eyed 'Mike' (voiced by Billy Crystal) and purple-and-blue-spotted furball Sulley (John Goodman) go to work at Scare factory Monsters, Inc. Sulley crosses over from Monstropolis into the world of humans and puts the frighteners on some poor little boy or girl. Meanwhile Mike bottles their screams and uses them to provide power for the monsters world's every need. Its nothing personal - it's just clock - punching employment. Or it is until a little girl they christen 'Boo' (Mry Gibbs) manages to cross over to Mike and Sulleys dimention. If the monsters world authorities find her, the boys are going to be out of jobs. This kids komedy is really funny which even the olders can enjoy . |
