I live with my gorgeous husband and 3 great kids, aged 16, 14 and 12 in a region of the North East of England known as Teesside (once Cleveland). I also have two of the cutest Border Collie dogs, Red who is 3 years old, and Glen, who is 6 years old. (And if you think this description is too gushy I make absolutely no apologies!!) |

Apart from walking in the park and tormenting me with rubber bones and stray balls, my dogs love going to our local Dog Agility Classes. It's a sport that is becoming very popular and can be very competitive if you have the stamina, speed and intelligence (it goes without saying that the dogs do!) |

|
Although Teesside was once primarily an industrial region, it is only a short distance to beautiful areas of the country such as the North Yorkshire Moors, Northumberland, and the Lake District in Cumbria. Travel a teensy bit further and you'll cross the border to Scotland.
As such we have a wide variety of open countryside - moorland, mountains, lakes and waterfalls, as well as quaint fishing ports such as Whitby, and coastal resorts such as Scarborough.
We also have a rich source of historical towns, such as Durham, Carlisle, Barnard Castle, Richmond and Newcastle, with the whole region littered with ancient castles, abbeys and cathedrals.
