Chaos Films

The film I'm working on is called BatChao: The Legend Begins.  Basically, it's a movie about a character that I invented like seven years ago.  He's basically a Batman rip off, but with a sort of Spider-man twist since he's just a normal teen trying to do the right thing.  So far, I have about 10 minutes of footage scripted, but I'm gonna have to work on it a lot more.  Originally, my friend was supposed to write the script and finish it by Spring 2002, but he flaked out, so I decided to take it into my own hands.  With all my other projects going on, progress on this one is really really slow.  I'm shooting for a summer 2002 shooting schedule and a Spring 2003 release, but don't count on it.  Ugh... more as it becomes available.  BREAKING NEWS!  BatChao is indefinently postponed.  Why you ask?  Read below! Teaser! 9/09/2002 Click it already!  Just a few notes, the song is called 'The Bawl' and it's by Asu.  Yea...  It's Flash, so you need to have Shockwave installed and all that good stuff.  Or if you want. you can save it.  Just right click/save as here.   Back to the Drawing Board! 8/30/2002 Today I decided to totally redo the script for BatChao.  I decided that it was headed in the wrong direction and needed a much stronger opening.  So I'm going to do just that.  Rewrite the first 10 pages or so.  More as it comes.   Why?!  I'll Tell You Why! 7/19/2002 Alright.  First thing you must do is read the article below if you haven't yet.  And now for the reason of why the movie is delayed.  Because my buddy hasn't written anything of the script!  Hahaha!  I knew he wouldn't.  Can't blame him though... or can I?  He told me many-a-times he would have the script done by the beginning of summer. Oh well.  Writing a script is hard, time consuming, and gets frustrating when you are stuck.  Anyway, I'll just keep writing mine.  Hopefully we'll shoot NEXT year.  But don't get your hopes up...   Buddy Back on Script 5/27/2002 Hey there!  You know how I said my friend flaked out on the script!  Well, over the weekend he said that he was actually working on the script.  He refused to let me see what he had so far, cuz he said it was 'in development'.  By that, I think he means it's in his head and not on the page yet.  Which isn't really that much since getting ideas from your head to the page is REALLY hard.  But I guess I'll trust him when he says he'll be done by June 14th.  Let's hope so.  In the meantime, I think I'll keep up with my own script.

Hello there.  This is the films section of this site.  Here you can learn info about my movie and stuff like that.  Well, actually, my movie is only in scripting phase, so there really isn't much to write about.  So I'm not gonna make an entire section about it like I did for my game and comic.  Once the script is done and characters are cast, I think I'll make a new section.  But for now, I'll just post up info on the right.  Little by little.  You'll also find movie reviews here too.  The next review should be Star Wars ep 2. Haha!  I'm lazy and don't want to write movie reviews so much, but I'll try.  Here's a lowdown of some recent movies I've seen: Signs:  9/10 Spy Kids 2:  8/10

Movie Review Star Wars:  Attack of the Clones 05/24/2002

Hmmm... just saw this movie and it was just about as good as I thought it would be.  Maybe even a little better.  It had some really great action scenes (the last 20 or so minutes were INTENSE!), and really kept me entertained with a pretty interesting story, but two things really dragged the movie down. 1)  The love story in here was reallllllllly corny.  All the 'Oh!  Padme!  I can't live without you!  I keep thinking about you.  Blah blah!' stuff was just WAY to corny and forced.  I mean, the guy hasn't seen her in 10 years, and when he last saw her, he has freakin 9 or something!  I mean, come on!  When I was nine, girls were still cooty breeding creatures of evil.  What the heck?  And for her to feel the same way... it's just way too unbelievable.  You see the guy for like... a week and suddenly want to have his kids?  That's just too weird for me. 2)  The script really wasn't that good.  Besides the corny love lines, there were some weird one-liners that kinda killed some otherwise cool scenes.  I guess it was to keep the intensity down, but I really think they should have tried to make it as intense as possible.  I mean, the story is about this guy who finally breaks down from his emotions and strays to the dark side.  It's an intense story!  Blargh! Other than these two things, the movie kept me interested.  Sure, some scenes were pretty predictable, but I think the massive battle at the end made up for a lot of the shortcomings of the movie.  I mean, you even get to see Yoda bust out some lightsabre action.  What more do you want in terms of action?   Rating:  7.5/10
