The principle objective being using ICTs and other forms of media to facilitate communication to fulfill specific development goals and solve problems of a
community
Research
is a key component of our work. We carry out independent research
as well as ethnographic action research that feeds our projects through the learning
by doing approach
Emphasis is on
policy recommendations along with dissemination of the
findings.
We
are a 2003 Gender & ICT Award winner at the WSIS and have received Honorary Mention at
the Prix Ars Electronica 2004 for using ethnographic action
research in ICT projects.
