This picture was done on 4 flats. In the beginning of the musical the only thing you saw was only 2 flats. The 2 outside flats came together and made one picture. In the middle of the musical the two flats were pulled apart and revealed the other two pictures making one whole picture. The people didn't expect that to happen, when we did pull it back you could hear people starting to talk to each other. We also had a stone that was put in the scene. It was also used outside in the morning service for Easter. I would like to thank my mom, ( Vinnie ) for helping me with this drawing. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have finished in time for the play. The hardest part of this drawing was the little bush on the left hand side of the picture. The palm tree was the best part, the tomb took the most time and used the most chalk. all of the members of Oakland Baptist Church in Roanoke, VA were really pleased with the drawing and the musical turned out great. I enjoyed myself making the scene and singing in it. Directed by my father, Carl Bridgman. If you would like to look at more pictures click below. Thanks for visiting, Robert Bridgman |
