Scrooge's Classroom in "A Christmas Carol"

This chalk drawing of the classroom was difficult in a way that you might not expect.  The difficulty wasn't in the drawing itself, but in trying to find out what kind of desks they had back in those days. It took a lot of research and a lot of time to do this particular scene. Thanks to a very good friend of mine, Brenda Finley at the public library, I was able to get the information I needed to do this drawing. I would also like to thank my father Carl, who was also the director of this play, for his help in this scene. He was the one who wanted a little mouse hole in the wall.( Can you find it? ) He also did the writing on the chalkboard. Everything was done in chalk and then spayed with clearcoat, which brought the drawing to life. I received many compliments on this drawing as well as the others.
