The parlor of Scrooge's nephew
This scene is a mixture of chalk and paint. The walls and the carpet are painted and the rest of the picture is chalk. I had to make this scene look old, and part of a house in which a rich person would live. This scene had Scrooge's nephew's family in front of it, seated around a table preparing to eat their Christmas dinner.   All of the pictures, including this one, took about 20-24 hours to do. You can imagine my satisfaction upon seeing it on stage with actors in front of it. It looked like they were really in that room. The crowd seemed to enjoy it as much as I did. I also received compliments on this picture that I really didn't expect. They seem to like the wood grain around the fireplace and in the floor.
