                                                                       History
The Ghetto Booties originally began play in 2005 as the Kansas City Goatcheese.  They finished 5th out of 6 teams in the CHL that season, missing the playoffs.
The team missed the playoffs again in 2006-07, finishing 3rd in the Hanson Division.  After the season, the CHL took control of the franchise from owner Chris Sedlock due to neglect and mounting debts.  The team was turned over to Bill Mullen, who returned to the league one year after selling the Indianpolis Huns to the O'Neill family (who moved them to Cambridge).
The change in ownership did not result in improvement on the ice, as the team once again finished 3rd in the Hanson Division.
