This is a peek inside my world (and my head). I began searching for my birth family in August of 1998.  Little did I know where that would take me. I was fortunate to find them in January of 1999. It was a strange and interesting journey. My purpose behind this site is to share that journey with those that visit here.

When I began searching it was suggested to me that I keep a diary.  It is included here for anyone who might be interested.

"Live every day as if no one is watching you dance."

"It takes courage to grow up and turn out to be who you really are."

- DOES IT MATTER -
My father asked me if I'm gay.
I asked, "Does it matter?"
He said, "No, not really"
I said, "Yes"
He said, "Get out of my life"
I guess it mattered.

My boss asked me if I am gay.
I asked, "Does it matter?"
He said, "No, not really"
I said, "Yes"
He said, "You're fired, faggot"
I guess it mattered.

My friend asked me if I am gay.
I said, "Does it matter?"
He said, "No, not really"
I said, "Yes"
He said, "Don't call me your friend"
I guess it mattered.

My lover asked me, "Do you love me?"
I said, "Does it matter?"
He said, "Yes"
I told him, "I love you"
He said, "Let me hold you in my arms"
For the first time in my life something matters.

My god asked me "Do you love yourself?"
I asked, "Does it matter?"
God said, "Yes"
I said, "How can I love myself - I am gay!"
God said, "That is the way I made you"
Nothing again will ever matter.
